To complete the installation procedure you will need to be familiar with using an ftp application to upload files to your webserver. In addition you must also be familiar with how to create a database and set up a user id within the database to be used by Ujima. Your hosting provider should provide documentation on how to accomplish the above.

1. Upload the distribution files to the desired directory on your server maintaining the distribution directory structure.
2. Change permissions of the install.pl script in the install directory to 755.
3. Open a web browser window and type in the url to run the installation script, generally:
   yourdomain.com/ujima/install/install.pl
